Welcome to the Meaford Military Family Resource Centre
The Military Family Resource Centre is a community-based, non-profit organization established to provide information, resources and services to military members, civilian employees and families of LFCA TC Meaford.
The Centre operates in partnership with LFCA TC Meaford and members of the community to promote healthy families and a strong, caring community. Programs and resources are designed to provide opportunities to enhance the quality of community and family life, and address the challenges of lifestyle.
They are offered within five main program areas:
- Information and Referral,
- Personal Development and Community Integration,
- Children and Youth Services,
- Prevention, Support and Intervention, and
- Volunteer Involvement and Development.
The Centre is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that is represented by at least 51% civilian spouses of CF members. Community participation plays a vital role in all aspects of the organization. Join us in a friendly, relaxed place, where we come together to learn, develop new skills, share common bonds, thoughts, interests and concerns.
