Are you interested in contributing to our vision to provide services to address the unique experiences of military families in a supportive, caring and confidential environment?
The volunteer board of directors of the MFRC is comprised of military spouses, CF Members and one Ex-officio member, who represents the local commander. Each member of the board is dedicated to governing the MFRC, ensuring that it meets the needs of our community and that it is the best it can be!
The Board responsibilities include:
- Developing Mission & Vision Statements
- Reviewing & Approving MFRC Policies
- Reviewing Funding Applications & Budgets
- Providing for Evaluations and Community Assessments of Programs & Services
- Evaluating the Executive Director
- Recruiting Board Members
- Conducting the Annual General Meeting
We are currently seeking both military spouses and partners and military members to represent our community on the Board of Directors. Please drop by the MFRC or give us a call at Ext. 6509 to find out how you can fill out an application.
